Building Engineer (2nd Class Refrigeration)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Day to day operation of physical plant and associated equipment
• Performing maintenance and repairs to building, common area and vacant/tenant units

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4th Class Power Engineer OR 2nd Class Stationary Engineer (refrigeration)
• Familiarity with the following systems is required: HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and building system controls considered an asset
• Strong maintenance skills including, but not limited to light plumbing, painting, cleaning, general repairs and maintenance
• Previous experience in commercial property management is an asset

Candidates must be licensed, or eligible for licensure, as a professional engineer (or engineer-in-training) with Engineers Nova Scotia, and must maintain their licensure in good standing for the duration of their employment as an engineer.
